This Adapter was developed specifically to allow the use of the 87 and up Mustang front steering spindle with an upper control arm and coil over suspension rather than the Mustangs McPherson Strut/lower control arm arrangement. It mounts using the Mustang Strut Bolts and bolt holes and has the proper taper for use with the ball joint shown below. |

These tubular front lower control arms offer lower un-sprung weight, and polyurethane bushings for better cornering performance, as well as.more clearance with wider front wheels. The arm comes assembled with the ball joint and polyurethane bushings installed and includes Ford hardware for easy assembly. Available with ball joints for all donor years (1987 to 2004). Finished in gloss black powder coat. |
