The Factory Five Racing 33 Hot Rod looks for all the world like a traditional 1950′s Hot rod, but the similarities are all visual – and there’s nothing wrong with that!

In point of fact the 33 Hot Rod uses all of the latest technology developed on the race track and the end result is a race car chassis in a hot rod body.

As a result of this marriage of old looks and new underpinnings that Factory Five racing 33 Hot rod is actually quicked on the auto cross circuit that the MK4 Cobra which in itself is no slouch!

The Factory Five 33 Hot Rod kit is the perfect place to begin the processs of building the car of your dreams. The kit includes everything you need to build the car except the driveline, wheels, tires, battery and paint. And when you get it done you have a car that like all of the Factory Five racing cars an every aspect of its intended use far exceeds your highest expectations.

Complete list of Included parts in the 33 base kit follows. Note that Items listed in Red Text are parts that Factory Five is required by the Cdn Federal DOT to remove from the kit in order to allow them to be shipped into Canada. All of the removed parts are readily available from alternate sources and as a resuly of having to delete all of these parts Factory Five has reduced the Kit price for Canadian customers down to $15,490.00 US.

The Base kit is $19990.00 US, but there are many options that can be added to these cars and the best way to gain a complete understanding of what your “Ideal Hot Rod” would cost to build is to sign up for the WCC mail list using the blue panel on the right. When you do so you gain access to subscriber only on-line interactive work sheets that allow you to option your Hot Rod as you envision it and as you do so the spread sheet will price your build for you.

Experience tells us that IF you stick to the plan you embodied in the spread sheet, and that’s hard to do, you will build the car for within $1500 of what the sheet shows. (assuming of course that your estimates for Paint etc are in line with costs in your area)

  ready to accept small block Ford and 4.6L engines.
- Body: Hand laid 3/16” laminate composite body and panels made
  with vinylester resin.
- Chassis Aluminum Panels: Includes 26 CNC cut, pre-formed
  6061-T6 aluminum panels for cockpit, trunk, and engine bay.
- Complete Front Suspension: Unequal length a-arm control arms
  with in-board coil-over shock suspension. Comes complete with all parts and
  fasteners.
- Factory Five Rear Suspension: 4-Link Suspension
- Complete Front Brake Kit:

  steer manual rack from tie rod ends and fasteners to steering wheel and

from the gas cap to the lines, and is designed to work with carburetors or fuel
injection systems. External fuel pump required.

- Pre-flared fuel lines (1/4” and 5/16”) w/unions, barbs, hose clamps

Engine Accessories: The ’33 Hot Rod kit is configured to
accommodate the engine of your choice.
- Engine/Transmission mounts (select 302/351 or 4.6L), with
  fasteners
- Exhaust, with gaskets and fasteners.

Driveshaft: Select from one of three available driveshafts
w/fasteners to match the engine/trans of your choice. Select one of the
following…
- 28 spline driveshaft for T-5, AOD, or Tremec 3550’s
- 31 spline driveshaft for Tremec TKO 500 or 600’s
- 31 spline driveshaft for 4.6L engines w/T-45’s or 3650’s

Gauges and Dash and Electrical Assembly: Complete assembly
comes dash buttons, toggles and indicator lights, switches, and horn.
- Custom fit chassis wiring harness
- Ignition switch and F5R key, headlight switch, Hi-Low beam switch,
  starter solenoid and horn button.
